We have been booked to appear at the Music on The Green (MOTG) which is an annual Festival held in Martlesham, just outside Ipswich.

This year it's on Saturday 11th July 2009 and runs from 1030am to 1030pm. Admission is free! and all funds raised go towards local charities and this year they are supporting each East Anglian Childrens Hospices.

The event typically showcases local bands and musicians with the added treat, this year, of having After The Fire along!

ATF are due on stage at 6.30pm for approx 45min set

We have confirmed another special event at St Peter on The Wall, Bradwell on Sea after the last two years' intimate gatherings there.

This is actually a service of worship and completely different to our commercial shows and is also totally acoustic as there is no electricity or generators! There is no charge for the service, come early, bring a hamper and enjoy the remote surroundings - Sunday 2nd August 2009 at 6:30pm

The demos which would have been the next ATF album (way back in 1984) are now available with bonus tracks on the latest ATF release... AT2F.

The band (past and present) are delighted to finally make this available as it features excellent quality recordings of previously unheard material.

The release is part of our partnership with Angel Air Records and is getting great reviews on the forum.

The band now have a presence on MySpace and it's proving a great place to provide previews of rare songs and videos as well as forthcoming releases. Please email any suggestions for tracks you would like to hear. All sorts of other juicy snippets will be available, like advance warning of gigs, and an (infrequent) blog from our own Mr Banks.

We are also thrilled that MySpace have use a byline in tribute to ATF...!

The current highlight is the ultra rare video of 1980-F from Hotel Opera in Munich. Click the MySpace logo!

With winter here again, it's time to get along to the Web Shop and grab yourself a quality ATF jacket. They are best quality Fruit Of The Loom zip up fleeces, decked out with the ATF2 logo on the front and AFTER THE FIRE on the finest quality high-vis stitching. Even though we say so ourselves, they are VERY cool and a must have fashion accessory. Available from the Web Shop now.

Join our database of original friends. You have the opportunity to add both some text about yourself AND two photos of how you looked 'then' and 'now'! You just use the log in details as for the Webshop and you can always request password reminders if forgotten.

If you are not on the list within a couple of weeks, do e-mail us with your former details and any others you could provide clues to their identity. For instance, many of the ladies on the 1982 list will have maiden names and obviously folk will have moved in the last 20 odd years! So if you can provide your locality, town and county back that would be a huge help too.

Whilst we will be providing a link from the e-friends page soon, until we get some more records uploaded you can only preview on the link below, just remember we haven't got very far and, as mentioned, any help welcome!
